  • Notes
    • Passing of Elsie Harriott - Much sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. David Harriott, in the death of their daughter, Elsie Emily, which occurred on Saturday last. Deceased, who was in her 12th year, had been ill for only a short time with influenza, which later developed into meningitis. Emily was a bright, intelligent girl, of a loving disposition, and her loss will be keenly felt by many playmates and friends. The funeral took place from the residence of her parents, Manly St., on Monday afternoon to Ayr cemetery and was largely attended, the pupils of the public school attending in a body. The services were in charge of Rev. H. w. Snell, and the following members of Christ Church Sabbath School acted as pallbearers: Masters Arthur Underwood, Clarion Oliver, William Mitchell, William Kendall, Kenneth Barnes and Harry Clark. Among the many beautiful floral tributes, were wreaths by the Sunday School of Christ Church, the choir of Christ Church and Mr. and Mrs. Breffett.
