  Mrs. George Lawrence Passes Mrs. George Lawrence of Ayr died Wednesday at Willett Hospital, Paris, after a lengthy illness. She was in her 86th year. The former Agnes Pringle Bell, she was predeceased in March, 1965, by her husband. Married in March, 1906, Mrs. Lawrence lived most of her married life in Ayr. She was a member of Knox United church and a president of the former Ladies' Aid Society of the church. She was also a member of Ayr Women's Institute and the Lawn Bowling Club. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by a son, Wilbur of Leamington; a daughter, Mrs. George (Sherry Isobel) Vogan, Toronto; sisters, Mrs. Jack (Mamie) Greg, Toronto, and Mrs. Alice Stable, Kitchener. The funeral service was conducted from Knox United Church, Ayr, on Saturday with interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Dec 15 1966 pg 2
