  Gilbert A. Scott of RR 2, Mount Hope, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 8th. He was in his 73rd year. Mr. Scott was born on the Scott farm, Greenfield Road, RR 1, Ayr, a son of the late Walter Scott and Mary Gray. He moved to RR 2, Mount Hope many years ago, and operated a farm there. Beloved husband of Doris Hussack; dear father of Walter of Toronto and Wayne of Mount Hope: brother of Dorothy Smith of Hamilton. Funeral service was held at the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, on Tuesday. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Nov 11 1987 pg 15
