    • Miss Sarah Pipe - The death occurred in Galt on Wednesday night, Jan. 24th, following an illness of over a year, of Miss Sarah Pipe, in her 82nd year. The late Miss Pipe, who was born in Blenheim, had been a resident of Galt for many years. She was a member of Wesley Church and the last of her family. Only five nieces survive: Mrs. Pearl Shaw of Walton, Miss Ida Pipe of Wolverton; Mrs. Hugh Galbraith of Drumbo and Mrs. Jack Inglis of Mildmay. Another niece, whose maiden name was Mary Findlater, resides in Manitoba. She is survived also by the following nephews: James Pipe, Blenheim; Taylor Pipe, Haileybury; George Pipe, Detroit; Janes Pipe, Goderich; Albert and Elston Pipe, Wolverton; Lyon and Robert Pipe in the West. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the Harold Gray Funeral Home, in Galt, to the Ayr Cemetery. Rev. H. L. Roberts officiated, and the pallbearers were: A. W. Hilborn, W. C. McKee, L. Findlater, Frank Tunn, James Pipe and J. Fraser.
