  Jane Elizabeth Baxter passed away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta on October 6, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Jane will be lovingly remembered by her brother Hugh (Sharon) of Vancouver; sister, Isabelle (Frank) of Miami; nieces and nephews Andrea (Rob) of Vancouver, Suzanne of Dublin, Ireland, Matthew (Melanie) of Guelph, Ont., Allyson (Hiroshi) of Barrie, Ont.; three great-nephews and two great-nieces, as well as many friends and relatives. Jane, daughter of Helen and Richard Baxter, was raised in Blenheim Township. She graduated from Hamilton General Hospital in 1958 as a registered nurse. She went to Calgary and worked at the Foothills Hospital for twenty-five years. Jane travelled the world. She loved family, friends and laughter. A memorial service was held in Calgary on Monday, October 11th. A further memorial service will be held in Ayr in June, 2005. The Ayr News Oct 27 2004 pg 14
