  Mrs. Richard Baxter - Mrs. Richard N. Baxter of Bute Street, Ayr passed away at Fergus on Thursday, April 9th. She was in her 80th year. The former Helen Kyle, she was a daughter of the late James Kyle and Jean Black. Mrs. Baxter farmed with her husband for many years on the 11th Concession of Blenheim before moving into Ayr in 1968. She was a life-long member of Knox United Church, Ayr, and the United Church Women. Predeceased by her husband in 1971; an infant daughter; sisters, Esther Brown and Edith Kyle; brothers Harold and Hector Kyle and son-in-law, Murray Hill. Dear mother of Hugh and his wife Sharon of Bracebridge; Jane Baxter of Calgary and Mrs. Isabelle Hill of Fergus; dear grandmother of Andrea and Suzanne Baxter of Bracebridge and Matthew and Allyson Hill of Fergus and sister of Jean Kyle of Ayr. Rested at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, where service was conducted Monday by Rev. George Saunders of Knox United Church, Ayr. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Apr 15 1987 pg 19
