- Pipe, Elston - At the John Noble Home, Brantford on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 Elston Pipe, formerly of Ayr and Drumbo; in his 92nd year. Dear husband of Edna Racknor. Predeceased by parents James and Catherine Pipe, brother Albert Pipe and sister Ida Pipe. He was born on the Tenth Concession of Blenheim Township. Mr. Pipe farmed until 1990 when he retired from a way of life he loved and moved to Telfer Place, Paris where again he volunteered and helped in any way he could. He was interested in organizations and was a past President of Ayr Cooperative, Drumbo Agricultural Society, Greenfield and Richwood Community Clubs, Treasurer of Drumbo Agricultural Society and Richwood United Church for 11 years. He was on the Drumbo Agricultural Society for 35 years and aided in the planning and building of the Agricultural Hall. Elston was a kind, gentle man and was always willing to do his part in life. Friends will be received at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Saturday, June 12 from 2 p.m. where funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Reverend Carol Ferguson officiating. Interment in Ayr, Cemetery.
