  Mrs. William H. Smith - By Record Staff Writer - Galt - Mrs. William H. Smith of 35 Woolley St., died Monday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt after a three month illness. She was 88. The former Janet M. Landreth, she was born in Tavistock. She lived on Hohner Avenue in Kitchener for many years. She was a member of First United Church, Galt. Her husband predeceased in 1943. Surviving are one son, John L. Smith, Kitchener; three daughters, Janet M. Smith, Winnipeg; Mrs. Arthur (Cassie) Hart, Beaver Falls, Pa., and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Whitfield, Galt; one brother, George Landreth, Clarkson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is at the Little Funeral Home, 39, Grand Ave. N., Galt where the service will be concluded Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ayr cemetery.
