- Died at Haysville.
The death took place at his home Haysville of Mr. Jacob Roth at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 14 days. He had been in poor health for some time, but was only seriously ill for about a week previous to his death. The late Mr. Roth was born on a farm near New Hamburg and spent his whole life in this neighborhood. He was married about fifty years ago to Mary Schmehl and for many years resided near Philipsburg. About fifteen years ago they removed onto the Everatt farm near Haysville, where he died. He was highly respected in the community and was a faithful member of the Lutheran church. He is survived by his widow and five children, namely, Mrs. John Riehl and John F. Roth. implement agent of New Hamburg. Henry of Wellesley. and William and Adelina at home. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon to Trinity church and Riverside cemetery.
