  • Notes
    • Sudden Passing of John William Lillico - The death occurred suddenly on Saturday morning at 3 o'clock of John William Lillico, widely known Blenheim township farmer, iin his 72nd year. The late Mr. Lillico had been in poor health for over a year but in recent weeks had appeared to be regaining a measure of his former good health. Born on the farm on which he passed away, Mr. Lillico was a son of Douglas Lillico and Catherine Douglas. As a young man Mr. Lillico was an all-round athlete and sportsman. He placed hockey for Drumbo, was a member of the Ayr Curling Club and was a keen football player. He was also an expert shot with a rifle. Mr. Lillico was a faithful member of Knox United Church. He will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends for his many fine qualities and good judgment. Besides his wife, whose maiden name was Eliza H. Laurie, he is survived by one son, Stanley, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Mahood, Toronto, and one grandchild. Also by a brother, Bruce Lillico, in British Columbia, and two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Currie, Paris, and Miss Katie B. Lillico, Ayr

      The Funeral
