  Harvey Edward Mason of Woodstock, formerly of Ayr, passed away Monday, November 13, 2000 in his 76th year surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of M. Leone Mason (nee Pepper). Dear father of Bill (Millie) Mason of Cambridge, Sheila (Rick) Hofstetter of London, Bev (Don) Wells of Paris. Loved grandfather of Amy, Char, Anesa, Donald, Jenn, Kristy and Bevan. Also survived by his brother Ross Mason, sister Hazel Bowman, brother-in-law Dave Coulson and sister-in-law Marion Mason as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Donald and Earl, sister Dorothy and infant sister Stella. Born in Beverly Township he was a son of William Mason and Eva Pepper. He was a retired supervisor with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, and a member of St. George Masonic Lodge No. 243. Rested at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock, where funeral service was conducted Friday by Rev. John Tweedie. Interment Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Nov 22 2000 pg 12
