  Mrs. Agnes Beattie Blancher Passes - Mrs. Agnes Beattie Blancher, aged 90 years, passed away Monday, July 22nd at Victoria Nursing Home, Ayr. The former Agnes Beattie Laurie, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Laurie of Blenheim Township. She was born on the farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Strickler and resided their [sic] until moving into Ayr in 1961. Mrs. Blancher was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. Being the last surviving member of her family, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph; brothers Andrew G. and James; and a sister Mrs. J. W. (Eliza) Lillico. Survived a nephew, a niece, and two great-nephews. Resting at Kipp Funeral Home, Paris where funeral and committal services will be held today (Wed.) at 2 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
