  Maude Fowler A former Ayr area resident, Maude Fowler of Hilltop Retirement Home, Cambridge, passed away in Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 1st. She was in her 97th year. Mrs. Fowler had been a resident of Galt since 1940, a member of Wesley United Church and a member of the Ivy Rebekah Lodge. Dear wife of the late Albert Fowler (1948). Daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah Gray, predeceased by two brothers, Norman and Edward Gray and a sister, Mrs. Mary Scott. Survived by 7 nieces and nephews. Rested at Little's Funeral Home, Galt, where funeral service was held Friday, October 3rd. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 8 Oct 1986 pg 13
