Notes - William James Paxton - The death occurred in Woodstock Hospital on Friday night, following a week's illness, of William James Paxton, who resided one mile northwest of Drumbo, in his 65th year. Deceased was well known in this district and word of his sudden demise was received with much regret. He was born near Wolverton and, outside of a period of twenty years, when he farmed near St. George, had always resided in Blenheim township. He was a prominent member of the I.O.O.F. and a member of Willis United Church, Drumbo. He is survived by two sisters, Agnes at home and Mrs. Gourlay, Woodstock; also by one brother, John Paxton, of Grand Forks, B.C., formerly of Ayr, who came home to attend the funeral, which took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon.
