  John Campbell - The death occurred at his residence, 10th concession of Blenheim, on Wednesday morning of John Campbell, a well-known and highly esteemed resident of Blenheim township. Deceased sustained a stroke on March 28, 1934, from the effects of which he never fully recovered. He was able to be around as usual, however, until three weeks ago, when he took to his bed. He was born on the farm between the 12th and 13th concessions of Blenheim, near where his brother, George, now resides, and had lived in the township during the whole of his lifetime. He attended Knox United Church. Besides his widow, whose maiden name was Janet Laurie, he is survived by two sons, Robert and Irvine, of Blenheim township; also by four sisters and four brothers, as follows: Mrs. Forbes, Saskatchewan; Mrs. R. W. Bass; Mrs. Donald Gunn, Washington; Mrs. Wm. Rutherford, Kitchener; William, Washington; James, Robert and George, Blenheim township. The funeral will take place on Friday, May 24th, at 2.30 p.m., to the Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News May 23 1935 pg 10
