- Julius Dargel - Former RR 3, Bright resident, Julius Dargel died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on Friday, August 9th, 1996. Mr. Dargel was in his 89th year. Born in Kitchener, he was a son of the late Christina and Carl Dargel. He was employed at Rumpel Felt Company for many years and farmed at RR 3, Bright with his brothers Gustave and Fred. He is survived by his nephew, Ken Dargel of Crystal City, Manitoba and by his niece, Elaine Whitehouse of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by brothers Fred, Gustave, Carl and Rudolph. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, on Monday, August 12 at 1: 30 p.m. Percy Williams officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.
