  Mrs. John Matheson - Mrs. John Matheson, a highly respected resident of this community for a quarter of a century, died on Tuesday at her residence, Lot 5, Concession 10, Blenheim township, in her 81st year, after a brief illness. Born of Scottish parents and a Presbyterian in religion, she is survived by five children, as follows: Mrs. F. S. Jarvis, Toronto; Miss Margaret Muscatine, Iowa; Miss Jessie and Law, at home, and Alexander, Davenport, Iowa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Stewart, and one brother, D. W. McKay, both of Los Angeles, California. The funeral, which is private, takes place to the Ayr Cemetery this (Thursday) afternoon. The Ayr News Nov 30 1933 pg 6
