  • Notes
    • Demise Of Margaret Ronald - The death occurred on Thursday morning of Margaret Helen, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Ronald, Ayr, aged 30 years, after a lingering illness, extending over two years. Miss Ronald, whose bright, loving disposition had won her many friends, was born in Blenheim township and came to Ayr with her parents about eight years ago. She was a member of Knox United Church and also acted as a teacher in the Sabbath School for several years. Besides her parents she is survived by one sister, Jeanetta, in Toronto, and two brothers, William, in Winnipeg and Gordon, near Bright. The funeral, which took place on Saturday afternoon, was largely attended, and many beautiful floral tributes offered silent testimony of the high esteem in which deceased was held. The services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Currie and the pallbearers were: Alex. McPherson, Watson McPherson, William Ronald and Alex. Bond (cousins), Glenmorris; John Clark and Arthur Harrison (school-mates), Blenheim.
