  R. Douglas Maus R. Douglas Maus, formerly of RR 3, Ayr, passed away at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, on Saturday December 10, 2005. He was in his 86th year. Doug was a longtime beef cattleman in the Ayr area, and an active member of Knox United Church, Ayr. Beloved husband to the late Ann (nee Hamilton) (2001); loved father to Bill (Norma) of Paris, Jim ( Kristina) of Paisley, Don of Paris and Jairus of Cambridge; cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; dear brother to John, Elizabeth. Agnes Thomson, Jean McGugan ( Duncan ), Don (Sue) and Hugh (Lillian). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jairus W. and Elizabeth Maus and his sisters Margaret Bond and Frances in infancy. Rested at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Ayr.
