    • PHILIP RAITT McLORN O.C.A.D. 1933 - 2009 An accomplished watercolour artist, well-known and loved in the K-W area, Philip passed away, surrounded by his family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the age of 75. Survived by his wife, Joan McLorn and his children, Michelle Kopp (Steve), Mary McLorn Valle (Tony), Dan McLorn (Darlene MacDonald), Jennifer Rauchfleisz (Derek) and Stephanie Roe (Cory Roberts). He will be missed by 12 grandchildren, Matthew Kopp, Sean Trendell, Malorie Kopp, Megan Trendell, Isabella Valle, Devon Valle, Jocelyn Rauchfleisz, Jakob Rauchfleisz, Hailey Roberts, Cole Roberts, Ivy Roberts and Lucy Roberts. Loving brother of Marjorie Bull and Sally Ruffell (Claire) and brother-in-law of Margaret Olver, Charles Olver and Dollene Paquette (Herman Rampersaud). Philip was a past Rotarian, former president of C.O.A.A. and a current Probus member. His paintings reflect his appreciation for the country side of life, and his zest for life is clearly evidenced in his joyful use of colour. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, June 15 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home with interment at the Ayr Cemetery after the reception. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com <https://www.erbgood.com> or 519-745-8445. In living memory of Philip, a donation will be made by the funeral home to the Trees for Learning Program.
