  Ralph Markle Passes The death occurred at Willett Hospital, Paris, on Tuesday of Ralph Walter Markle, R.I. 2, Paris, aged 57 years. The late Mr. Markle had been released from hospital only a few days previously and was returned on the day of his passing. A son of the late John Markle and Jessie Stull, he was born on the Markle homestead south of Ayr, where he lived all his life. The late Mr. Markle was a successful farmer and a most popular neighbor in the district. He was a valued member of Paris Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth "Betty" Sutherland; four nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers: Lloyd. Clifford and Leslie. Resting at his late residence, where service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Andrew Denholm officiating. Interment will he made in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Jul 15 1965 pg 9
