    • Died In North Dumfries, on Friday, March 21, 1930, at 4.30 o'clock p.m., Mary Brown Widow of the late James Currie, in her 59th year. The Funeral Will take place from her late residence, Lot 24, Con. 9, North Dumfries, on Monday, March 24, at 1 o'clock p.m., to Ayr cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation

      Mrs. James Currie

      An esteemed resident of North Dumfries passed away on Friday afternoon in the person of Mary Brown, widow of the late James Currie, in her 59th year. Deceased had been in poor health for some time and her demise was not unexpected. Mrs. Currie was born on the farm on which she died and was much respected by a large acquaintanceship for her many fine qualities. She is survived by the following three sons and one daughter: William, Thomas, Erie and Mrs. Stephen Gemmell, all of North Dumfries. Two brothers, John G. and James T. Brown of Carberry, Man., also survive. Her husband predeceased her some 13 years ago. The funeral took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Monday afternoon and was largely attended.
