Robert Frederick Elvin - Robert Frederick Elvin of Robert Kerr Manor, Galt, passed away Saturday, May 23rd at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Cornwall. Born April 5, 1920 in London Township, he was a son of the late Robert Elvin and the former Mary Gladys Dale who survives. The Elvin family at one time resided in Ayr. Mr. Elvin was a foundry worker. He served overseas with the Perth Regiment during World War II. He was a member of Galt Legion Branch 121. Surviving besides his mother are his wife the former Kathleen Randall; a brother Clifford of Cambridge; two sisters Mrs. Wes (Gladys) Freer of London and Mrs. Ross (Ann) Peters of Wallaceburg. Funeral service was held at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt on Tuesday. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
