    • TAYLOR (Cochrane) Mary H. - Peacefully, at Parklane Terrace, on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, formerly of Ayr; in her 102nd year. Mary was a longtime member of the Ayr Horticultural Society and was an avid gardener. Beloved wife of the late William Taylor (1971) and Robert Cochrane (1967); loved mother of Norma Robb (Roger) of Woodstock, Thelma Hopf (Robert) of Ayr, Donna Johnstone (William) of Cambridge, James Cochrane (Marg) of Richwood, Barbara Jonas (Roland) of Cambridge, Vera Balkwill (Larry) of Drumbo and Gerald Cochrane (Rita) of Princeton; loved grandmother of 24 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Roberta Lee; a grandson, Marshall; a sister, Doris and brother, Harry. Friends will be received at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home , 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. Reverend Eloi Gunn officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Diabetes Association, or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
