  Mrs. Erb Clark Passes - The death occurred in South Waterloo Memorial Hospital this (Wednesday) morning, following a lengthy illness, of Mrs. A. Erb Clark, in her 64th year. Born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, she came to Canada as a child in 1906 with her widowed mother, Mrs. Thomas Gibson. The family took up residence in this district, where Mrs. Clark spent the remainder of her life. She was an active member of Knox United Church and the Women's Institute, and had always taken an interest in the social activities of the community. She is survived by her husband and two brothers, Thomas Gibson of Webster, N.Y., and Fred C. Gibson of South Dumfries. The funeral will be held from the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor, Ayr, on Friday, December 3rd, at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Dec 2 1954 pg 2
