- Mrs. John Gibson - The death occurred on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May Buck, Woodstock, of May Milne, 6th concession of Blenheim, widow of the late John Gibson, in her 84th year. Mrs. Gibson was born in Scotland and, since coming to Canada, had resided in the Drumbo district, She is survived by six sons and two daughters, as follows ; Charles, Frederick and Oliver, near Drumbo; Stanley, Thornbury; Norman, overseas; Mrs. May Buck and Mrs. John French, Woodstock. Three sons predeceased her, James and George, who were killed overseas in 1916, and Roy. The funeral will take place this (Thursday) afternoon to the Ayr Cemetery.
