The death occurred early today (Wednesday) at his home in Washington of Frederick C. Brandon, aged 90, one of the community's oldest and most respected residents. His passing came only a few months after Mr. Brandon and his wife, the former Laura Nash, had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. He was born in England on February 10, 1864, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brandon, and came to Canada in 1913. He was employed on the farm of Thomas Guthrie, near Ayr, until 1921 when he moved to Washington. Holmes (Kate) of London, England; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three children. Funeral service will be held at Washington United Church on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
