  George H. Babcock George Hamilton Babcock of William Street, Ayr passed away at Willett Hospital, Paris, on Monday, February 4th. He was in his 95th year. Born in Drayton, he was a son of the late George Newton Babcock and Mary Grace Hamilton. Mr. Babcock was a self-employed mining engineer and prospector. Husband of the late Elizabeth M. Morton; dear father of George Jr. and his wife Colombe of Massey, John and his wife Joan of B.C., Barbara and her husband Harold (Bob) Beechey of Paris, Peggy of Ayr and Betty and her husband Les Pettigrew of Ayr. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grand-children. Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. George Saunders of Ayr will officiate. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
