- Mrs. A. C. Hall
Mrs. Andrew C. Hall of RR 4, Bright passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, June 15th. She was in her 83rd year. The former Elizabeth (Bessie) Lillico, she was born and lived all her life in Blenheim Township. She was a daughter of the late Douglas Lillico and Elizabeth Edgar. A retired school teacher, she taught for a time at Washington and East Zorra; in later years she taught at Little's Corners and Dickie Settlement. Fifty-three years ago she married Andrew Hall and they had resided on their 12th Concession farm ever since. Mrs. Hall was a valued member of Knox United Church, Ayr; the United Church Women; a former Sunday School teacher; and past president of the local retired teachers group. Surviving besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Robert G. (Agnes) Brown of RR 4, Galt; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Mrs. Deans (Belle) Cochrane and Mrs. Robert (Marion) McRuer. Funeral service was held at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris on Monday. Rev. George Saunders of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
