  HILL - In Blenheim Township, on Thursday, March 8th, 1928, at 7 o' clock a.m., Sarah Jane Bride, dearly beloved wife of Samuel J. Hill, in her 59th year. The funeral took place to the Ayr Cemetery on Monday afternoon. The Ayr News Mar 15 1928 pg 1 _____________ Esteemed Resident Passed Away. Mrs. Samuel Hill, who resided near Washington, died very suddenly on Thursday morning last. Mrs. Hill had suffered from a serious disease of the heart for a number of years. She was in her 59th year and had been diligent in church and social work. She was one of the leading members of the Horticultural Society and had just recently represented the society at Toronto. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, a large family of sons and one daughter. Isabella, who is teaching school near Listowel.
