Notes - HOFFMANN, Herbert W. "Herb" At Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, June 7, 2010, in his 71st year. Loving husband of Jean Hoffmann of 41 years. Herb will be remembered by his brother Hans (Anne) in Germany, nephew Peter (Gabrielle) and grandnieces Meaghan, and Kirstin all of Waterloo. Also remembered by sister-in-law Waltraud Hoffmann of Kitchener and by many nieces and nephews in Germany. He will be sadly missed by the Hill, Connell, Wyand and Popick relatives and by many friends at First United Church of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Bruno and Hildegard, brother Horst and sister Hilda. Herb came from Berlin Germany in 1961 and worked at Electrohome until his retirement. Friends are invited to share their memories of Herb with his family during a celebration of his life at Robert Ruggle Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo, on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Eva Mezo officiating. Reception will immediately follow. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to First United Church General Fund, Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519 888-7700.
