  Mrs. Hilda Elms Passes Mrs. Hilda Elms of Parkwood Manor, Waterloo, passed away in K-W Hospital on Tuesday, September 7th following a brief illness. Born at Roseneath December 29th, 1890, Mrs. Elms was a daughter of the late O.T. Ball and Jennifer Varcoe. Prior to taking up residence in Waterloo a few years ago, she had lived in London, Courtright and Detroit. She was an adherent of the United Church and member of the Eastern Star. Predeceased by her husband Leslie Elms in 1964, a brother Wesley in 1918 and a sister Addle Sifton in 1962. Surviving are two sisters Mrs. Flo Vincent of Ayr and Mrs. Gertrude Smiley of White Rock, B.C.; also, a brother William Ball of Galt. Funeral service will be held today (Thursday) at 3 p.m. from the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo. Rev. D. E. Willis of Ayr will officiate. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
