  Ernest Waugh Passes Ernest Waugh, 78, of 68 Hincks street, died at Woodstock General Hospital on Friday after an illness of one week. Born at Plattsville, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Waugh. He resided in Innerkip district before going to Woodstock 43 years ago. He had been employed at the Concrete Pipe Ltd. for 36 years, before retiring five years ago. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, a social member of the Canadian Legion and member of the Orange Lodge. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Ann Skillings; seven sons and three daughters: Alex, Tom, Jack, Allan, Harry and Mrs. J. (Jean) McDonald, all of Woodstock; Elmer at home; Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Boyce, Eastwood; Mrs. Robert (Doreen Betty) Flood, Ashbury Park, N.J., and George of Hickson. There are 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the M. D. (Mac) Smith Funeral Home, Woodstock, with Rev. W. A. Henderson of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Dec 29 1962 pg 10
