  John Black - The death occurred in Galt Hospital on Monday of John Black, Bruce Street, Ayr, after an illness of some time. Deceased was born on the Black homestead, near Wolverton, and came to Ayr with his sisters some six years ago. He was a member of Knox United Church, and is survived by one sister, Miss Isabella, at home, and one brother, Charles, in the West. The funeral, which was private, took place to Ayr Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Ayr News Aug 17 1933 pg 6
