    • Thomas Hall

      Lifelong Ayr (Jedburgh) resident, Thomas Arthur Hall, died peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, December 2, 2004. Tom as in his 71st year.

      Born in Galt, he was son of the late Mildred Burdette Lowndes and William Gillies Hall.

      Tom lived and worked on the century family farm at Jedburgh on the outskirts of Ayr. He graduated in 1963 from the Ontario Agricultural College, Guelph and was a member and past master of the Ayr Masonic Lodge #172 A.F. & A.M.

      Tom's passions included music, dancing, antique cars and tractors, love, laughter and his family and friends.

      He is survived by four children, Colleen and Scott Gemmill of Cambridge; Sara and Norm Sutherland of Guelph; Heather and Darrin Kinnear of Kitchener; Bill and Pam Hall of London; also survived by Theo Hall; grandchildren: Matthew, Carson, Brooklyn, Adam, Eric, Thomas and Grace; sisters: Helen (Jane) and Jack Paddle of Toronto, Beth Hall and brother John and Marguerite Hall of Ayr; he was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

      Predeceased by sister Wilma Bolton. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Monday, December 6 at 1: 30 pm. Reverend Fred Hagle of Knox United Church officiated.

      Interment was in Ayr Cemetery.
