  Miss Dorothy Easton passes Following a prolonged illness, the death occurred in Willett Hospital, Paris, this (Wednesday) morning of Dorothy Easton, a lifelong resident of this community. The late Miss Easton had been confined to hospital for six weeks prior to her death. She was born in South Dumfries, a daughter of the late Arthur Easton and Jainitta Transom, and spent practically all of her life on the farm of her birth. She was a devout Presbyterian and a regular attendant of the Ayr Presbyterian Church, where she was also a member of the Women's Association. Surviving are one brother, Thomas Easton of Toronto, and a sister, Mrs. John Gemmell (Mary) of Paris. The funeral will be held from the W. O. Ball Funeral Parlor, with interment in the Ayr Cemetery.
