  Wilma Jean Burns, U.E. Wilma Jean Burns, passed away at her home in Kitchener, on March 15th, 2000. She was 76 years of age. Wilma was the loving wife for 54 years of Robert Burns, who predeceased her in February 2000. Also predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Earner, who at one time resided in Ayr. She loved having coffee with her friends at Coffee Time on King Street. For many years, she enjoyed bowling and taking care of the Laurentian Apartments library. She proudly helped with the Grand River Chapter of the United Empire Loyalists in its early years. She is survived by her loving daughter Cathy and her husband Masood of Yellowknife, N.W.T. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Riz and his wife Andrea of Toronto and Adam of Yellowknife. Funeral service was held from the Westmount Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 20th at 11 a.m. The Ayr News Mar 22 2000 pg 10
