  Clarence M. Bryans Clarence M. Bryans of Telfer Place, Paris, formerly of Ayr, passed away Tuesday, December 1st, 1992 at Willett Hospital, Paris. he was in his 87th year. Born in North Huron; only son of John and Isabel Bryans. Survived by his son Alex and his wife Bernadette: two sisters Mrs. Jean Rabb of Harriston and Mrs. Marie Hardacre and husband Richard of Willowdale. Predeceased by his wife Mabel (Statham) in 1988. Mr. Bryans joined the Bank of Hamilton, Fordwich in 1923 following high school. It amalgamated with the Canadian Bank of Commerce the following year. He served this bank for 43 years in south-western Ontario in various capacities and the last 15 years as manager in Plattsville and Ayr. He was always interested in local affairs from , Galt Civic Service Club to organizing the Plattsville Board of Trade and Ayr Chamber of Commerce, serving as first president in both cases. Served on Board of managers for 33 years in Strathroy United Church, First United, Galt, Plattsville and Ayr Knox United: served as a director on the Ayr Cemetery Board and was a member of Plattsville Masonic Lodge No. 178. He was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. Resting at the William Kipp Funeral Home. Ayr Chapel. Funeral service and committal at the funeral home chapel. Arrangements incomplete at press time.
