  J. Morton Guthrie AYR, J. Morton Guthrie of Ayr, died Saturday, at K-W Hospital in Kitchener. He was 88. He was born in South Dumfries Township and farmed in the Ayr area, for many years. He retired to Ayr, 24 years ago. He was a member and elder of Knox United Church for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Ayr cemetery board and the local curling club. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Olive Bell Marshall, on April 26, 1968 and by three sisters. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Perrin of RR 3, Bright and six grandchildren. The body is at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home in Galt, where a service will be conducted Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ayr cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 25 Jan 1971 pg 23
