  HOFFMAN, Charles W. Died at his home in Plattsville, on Friday, Aug. 24, 1973, Charles W. Hoffman, in his 85th year, beloved husband of Vera Gammon; dear father of Harold and George of London, Mrs. John Hughes (Marion), Princeton, Mrs. Ray Plyley (Evelyn), Elora; predeceased by a son Ward, in 1936; brother of Albert of Woodstock, John of Hamilton, Mrs. May Turnbull of Hamilton; also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Glendinning Funeral Home, Plattsville, where service will be held on Monday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m. Interment in Ayr cemetery. Rev. H. PiIlen will officiate.
