  BULLOCK, Robert James - February 27, 1937 - April 10, 2007. Born at Riverside Farm, Plattsville, only son of Wm. Remmington Bullock and Myra Verna Cook. Grandparents James Cook and Katherine Rush and Samuel Bullock and Mary Broughton. Married Barbara Elizabeth Ann Thomson in 1967. He farmed, corn drying and trucking for 24 years, retiring to courier the Record for 26 years. Surviving; devoted partner Bette, Son; David James Thomson Bullock; Daughter Janet Richmond Cook Bullock and her husband Glenn Edward Reimer; Granddaughter Lauren Jane: Siblings Marjorie Battler, Mable Zinn; In-Laws Bill and Shirley Thomson, Joyce Carmichael, Kaye Swan, Ian and Nancy Thomson and nieces and nephews. Predeceased; Daughter Jane Elizabeth Bullock, March 19, 1970, parents Wm. Remmington, January 1957, Myra V. Cook, September 1976, brothers-in-law Elton Battler, December 1996, Elroy Zinn, April 1997, Garnet Carmichael, April 2004. At Bob's request no Visitation. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Service at the Washington United Church on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at 2: 30 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Washington United Church Memorial Fund (cheques accepted) would be appreciated as this was started by the Thomson Family in May 1966 in Memory of J. Perry Thomson. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St., Plattsville. "Always look at a sunrise or a sunset in Bob's memory."
