      Miss Ruth Isabelle Guthrie of Teller Place, Paris, passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, May 2nd. Born on the Guthrie home farm, RR 2, Paris, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. Guthrie and Margaret Smith. Miss Guthrie was a charter member of the Paris 3H Club; faithful member of St. Paul's United Church, Paris and the United Church Women; former secretary of Grand River Branch United Empire Loyalist Association of Canada; former secretary-clerk at Paris Post Office and Paris P.U.C. Surviving are a brother Wilbur of Paris; a sister Dora and her husband Dr. James Carson of Mt. Pleasant; seven nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, on Friday. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
