  Death of Mrs. Howlett Margaretta Weir, wife of J. J. Howlett, died at her residence, in Glenmorris, Monday morning, aged 38 years. Deceased had been suffering for several months past, with phthisis, the effects or which carried her away. She was a daughter of the late Jas. Weir, of South Dumfries and was; married to her now sorrowing husband, about twelve years ago. Deceased lady leaves no family, but her mother, two sisters and a brother are among the sorrowing relatives. The brother, James, resides at the old homestead, as well as one sister, Miss Sarah. The other sister, Mary, now Mrs. Boyd, resides in Ireland, where she went on a visit some years ago. The late Mrs. Howlett, since her marriage, has always resided at Glenmorris, with the exception of a period of six years, when she and her husband lived at Lakelet, in Huron County. She was a member of the Presbyterian church from early childhood and was one of its most faithful and esteemed members. The surviving husband and relatives will have the heart-felt sympathy of many friends. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, at 1.30 o'clock, to the Ayr cemetery.
