As a young man he became a member of Dolman Lodge, I.O.O.F., Ayr, and was one of the very few to have attained over 50 years' membership. Mr. Thomson attended the Washington United Church.

Surviving is one brother, J. J. Thomson, of Plattsville. His wife the former Ida May Gammon predeceased him in March.

      Oddfellows' Service

On Sunday evening, the Oddfellows' funeral rites were held at the home of his nephew, Perry Thomson, attended by ten members of Dolman Lodge. Conducting the service were Chaplain James D. Patterson, Noble Grand George E. Gillespie and Secretary Alvin Page.
