  Mrs. Floyd Hawes Mrs. Floyd Hawes of 53 Lowrey Avenue S., Galt, passed away in South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, on Friday, July 7th. The former Eleanor Jane Thomson, she was born in Plattsville, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Thomson. Mrs. Hawes had been a resident of Galt for 23 years. She was a member and past treasurer of Lincoln Avenue United Church and also a member of Thames Valley Eastern Star. Surviving besides her husband and parents are three sons Barry, Darrell and Eugene, all at home; and two brothers Jim and Rick of Plattsville. Funeral service was held Monday at Little's Funeral Home, Galt. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Jul 12 1978 pg 10
