  Mrs. Weston Sherk, R.N. Greenfield Road resident, Helen Laurie (Robson) Sherk, R.N., died at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 2, 1995, in her 87th year. Born in Oxford County, she was the daughter of the late Nellie (Laurie) and the late Daniel Wakefield Robson. Mrs. Sherk was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Public Health) and was employed as a Registered Nurse with the Victorian Order of Nurses before her marriage. She was a former member of the North Dumfries Women's Institute, the First United Church, Cambridge and the Business and Professional Women's Association of Cambridge. Mrs. Sherk is survived by her husband Weston Sherk; her son Don and his wife Pat of Midland, their children, Jeffrey and Suzanne; and by her brother George Robson and his family of Windsor. In addition to her parents Mrs. Sherk was predeceased by her sisters, Nora and Jean. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Sunday, June 4th at 3 p.m. Reverend Hilary Merritt of First United Church, Cambridge, officiated. Interment was in the Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News 7 Jun 1995 pg 14
