  William Gibson - The death occurred on Monday morning at the home of his nephew, Norman Hoggarth, Wolverton, with whom he had resided from some five years, of William Gibson, in his 86th years. Deceased, who was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, came to Canada with his parents when some six years of age. He had spent the greater portion of his long lifetime in this vicinity, the remainder - about 18 years - being spent at Hagersville. He was a shoemaker by trade, and was employed on various occasions by Paul Maeder when he was in business in the village. Surviving are three sisters and one brother, viz.: Mrs. Mary Pipe, Drumbo; Mrs. Susan Hoggarth, Wolverton; Mrs. Barbara Johnson, Galt, and Alexander Gibson, Winnipeg; also a half-sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ralston, Cayuga.
