    • KYLE, Elizabeth Gladstone (Betty) - Of Cambridge, on Sunday, August 27, 2006, at MacMaster Hospital Hamilton, in her 86th year. Beloved daughter of the late John and Florence (Whitson) Kyle. Loving sister of the late David and Elizabeth Kyle. Also survived by her niece, Nancy and Ed Laverty and their family Justin (Lindsay) and Kyle (Jenni). Miss Kyle was born in Ayr and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired nurse and very active in the Fairview Centre Community. Known as a generous, caring person who didn't hesitate to give her opinion of things, she also enjoyed knitting, the craft Sale and outings with her friends. She was always on the go. Friends will be received at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Thursday 7-8: 30 p.m. The Funeral and Committal Service will be conducted at Fairview Centre Auditorium, 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge, Friday. Sept 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. John Anderson officiating. Interment in the family plot in Ayr Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Fairview Mennonite Centre or Trillium United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Tributes may be made online at www.mem.com <https://www.mem.com>.
