  Mrs. Jessie M. Guthrie The death occurred at Willett Hospital, Paris, on Friday of Mrs. Jessie McRuer Guthrie in her 72nd year. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William McRuer, she was born on the family farm west of the White School and spent most of her life in this district. Before moving to Paris in the early 1940's, she resided with her young family in Ayr for a number of years where she was well known by a wide circle of friends. She was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Calvin Reid (Marguerite) and Miss Jessie Mae, both of Paris; two sons, William of South Dumfries and George of State College, Pennsylvania; two brothers, William of South Dumfries and Robert of Blenheim Township. Eight grandchildren also survive. The Funeral The funeral was held from the Cumming Funeral Home, Paris, on Monday with Rev. Walter Kennedy officiating. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The pallbearers were nephews: Neil McRae, Lambeth; Andrew McRae, Ancaster; Douglas and Robert Hall, Plattsville: Donald McRuer, Leamington, and Gordon McRuer, Blenheim Township.
