  Mrs. Margaret Markle Passes Mrs. Margaret Markle, RR 2, Paris, passed away suddenly in Victoria Hospital, London, on Friday, January 1st. She was in her 60th year. The former Margaret Sutherland, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sutherland, she was born and lived all her life in this district. She was a member of Paris Presbyterian church, the 3-H Cub, and a life member of the Bible Society. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Carl Ann) Attlebery, Paris, sons, John and Clayton at home, sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Markle and Mrs. Wilfred (Doreen) Farmer, both of RR 2, Paris; a twin brother, Alex Sutherland, RR 2, Paris, also one granddaughter, Jennifer Attlebery of Paris. Her husband, Leslie, predeceased her in 1960. Funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon from the William Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, by Rev. Alan Embree. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Sutherland, Alex Sutherland, Jr., Ken Farmer, John Harkness, Clarence Sayles and Ivan Kelley. The Ayr News Jan 7 1971 pg 6
